I can still remember when we are talking about relationships in our Religious Studies class last semester. We talked about so many things and I would like to share some of the things that we learned. And for this news article, I would like to talk about the simple ways of how to improve our relationships with others.

But I will also try to deal the things I learned from my previous workshop and lessons.

Relationship as defined by some of the dictionaries is a state of connectedness between people.

So these simple acts of improving our relationships will not only be limited with the connection we have for our partners, girl/boy friends, wife/husbands but can also deal with our connections with our families and friends and with other people.

Please be guided that the following actions are purely out of my learnings and one of the main objective of this article is for us to have a fruitful conversation and for us to have more ways on how we can continue to build good relationships in our homes, communities and even here in DeviantART.

Relationship :heart:

Relationships can bring us into thoughts and deep perspectives about our lives. If we are living in a healthy relationship, we grow more peacefully as individuals who are continuously in the mood of sharing optimism around us.

1. Recognize your worth. START WITH YOURSELF!

You can’t have relationships unless you know yourself and accepting yourself;

When we start to recognize our very own selves, we can already start recognizing our strengths and weaknesses and even to the simplest details of our likes and dislikes, interests and desires, etcetera. We learn to practice humility. But knowing our very own selves is a process and that we need to seriously put it in our minds and hearts because that will eventually give us ideas about our own limits and most especially with how we can deal with other people.

2.Control your feelings

Feelings are integral to any relationship and I would like to quote what jakelaurence2000 said as a form of reminder for us when I asked some of them about the connection of feelings towards relationships:

"Because relationships are start and determined by it."
-jakelaurence2000

Bring your feelings out in the open, make an effort to understand the feelings of others because from that, people will also learn to understand about the things that we really feel.

3. Learn to settle conflicts

Talk About by Ytzeek

This is where communication comes in where everyone has the right to their opinion and this can also help us practice humility being forgiving to the people around us.

"Conflicts should be settled calmly. There should be constant communication between the people involved when resolving an issue or conflict in a relationship. In the end, one must give way in order to retain the spice and love that is present in the relationship, the one which binds the people involved.”
anaxcore

Conflicts are not negative. It is how we deal with conflicts that make it have a flesh of positivity or negativity. If we will deal conflicts positively, then for sure, we will all be tracked down at the right way.

Let's talk to the heart! :heart:

4. Resolve to trust others

Trust by ironist

  Trust is the foundation of any healthy relationship; without it, no relationship can prosper; it is the belief that  every person is essentially good and that goodness is trust.

Let's take care the trust that other people have for us and also, let's not forget the trust that we have for them too and to cultivate it and welcome a more healthy relationship everyday.

5. Listen well and speak to honestly

communication is the heart of any relationship;

excellent communication= healthy relationship;

When we communicate, let's always think that it is a two way process that one will speak and the other one will listem. Listening sincerely implies concern for the other; it makes you feel important and loved; when speaking, share feelings with others and always be honest.

"Remember, we all stumble, every one of us. That's why it's a comfort to go hand in hand."

-Emily Kimbrough

" When men and women are able to respect and accept their differences then love has a chance to blossom."

-John Gray

" You can kiss your family and friends good-bye and put miles between you, but at the same time you carry them with you in your heart, your mind, your stomach, because you do not just live in a world but a world lives in you."

-Frederick Buechner

" A relationship is like a rose. How long it lasts, no one knows. Love can erase an awful past, love can be yours, you'll see at last. To feel that love, it makes you sigh. To have it leave, you'd rather die. You hope you've found that special rose, cause you love and care for the one you choose."

-Cella

Please leave your thoughts below and let's all have a chat! :aww:

Til here! ;)
