The “Secret in Finding Meaning in Life” is a community project initiated to see the beauty of life and to share its real meaning to the whole world.

Finding the essence of this project maybe difficult for some perhaps, but we have to think that finding the real meaning of our lives isn’t that difficult as long as we believe in ourselves and to know ourselves deeper with love and passion. It will be during this time that we will go back to the experiences that we had, the experiences that made us laugh, cry, worry, and smile.

But above all those things, have we ever asked ourselves if we will be successful in finding the real meaning of our lives? If your answer is Yes, then we need you to share it to us but if your answer is No, please. Take this from me. That it is never too late to find the meaning of our lives and that it is not yet too late for you to share it to us.


There are three basic steps for this project:

REFLECT:

Find a comfortable place where you can think. Sit down and take a deep breath. Relax and be aware of the things that are present in your surroundings. Then go back to your past. Reflect on the things that made you happy, the things that made you sad and the things that made you stronger. Then think about your present situation. Did you ever notice the changes within yourself? Do you think that it will make you happy and strong for the rest of your days to come?

SHARE:

Write down the things that made your life meaningful or take a photo if that will be easier for you. You can even create a drawing or a sketch or an animation regarding this thing. Do anything you want as long as it speaks most of the things that made your life meaningful. What we want to hear and see from you are those things that will come from your heart.

INSPIRE:

Be a part of this and for sure, you will not just inspire one person, but you will inspire many people here in this world.

Just like what I said, you can do this in poetry or prose, digital art, photograph, song, animation or anything that you are comfortable with. Do anything you want as long as it speaks most of the things that made your life meaningful and please bear in mind that you need to work this out from your heart.

Please bear in mind also that this is NOT a contest but this is a community project where we can inspire deviants here for them to appreciate their lives and so that they can also inspire more people and to help them as well.

When you will do your piece you still need to provide a little explanation in your artist comments, especially when it’s not under literature category. But it would be nice that they could give us some explanation for poetry if they think that it would be necessary

I believe that it would be great if people can submit few entries as long as they are not in the same category like 2 entries for literature or something like that.

This community project will run until the day before the International Day of Peace, (September 21,2010), 11:59 pm Philippine Time. And I will feature everyone’s works on the International Day of Peace proper.

And I will also feature your pieces in my personal blog [link] so that more people can see and witness our community project.

Many of us are experiencing many beautiful things in life. But despite all of those beautiful things, we sometimes forget to find the real meaning of our lives. Confusion then dominates our being and we then fail to see life’s beauty at its best.

But then, when we will just try to calm down even just for a short while, we will be able to reflect on the things that happened and will happen to us in the days to come. It’s just that we need to stop, to look and to listen to the beat of our hearts, the beat that make us alive and the very same beat that will remind us that it’s not yet too late to see everything as the most beautiful thing that we could ever imagine.
